Estate 2012, Riace, la casa di famiglia… dal mare giungono i profughi, il paesaggio cambia, si arricchisce di nuove storie, immagini in movimento. Suono il sassofono soprano e nasce la composizione dentro é fuori. Un inno alla vita, una preghiera nel suono, un canto a tre voci: armonia e contappunto. Disegno, dipingo… l’orchestrale é il gioco dei colori e nella coralità emerge il solista. Il pianoforte, sempre la stessa idea: musica minimalista; la sequenza si ripete, semplice e disarmante. In autunno, a Parigi, registro l'orchestra di fiati a 30 voci con sassofono basso, tenore, soprano e clarinetto basso: anima jazz. Tre spazi diversi da 48 a 56 battute, i cicli si ripetono e cosi nasce l’architettura e per il finale salire di un tono. In inverno un bell’incontro artistico con Or Solomon ed in due giorni, all'arrivo della primavera, registriamo nel suo studio il pianoforte a coda. Domando a Gérard de Haro di realizzare il mixage e il mastering e parto per la Buissonne ad Avignon. Nella splendida sala, dall’acustica meravigliosa, suono al sassofono soprano e registriamo i tre “lead voice”…

Summer 2012, Riace, in the family house… the refugees come from the sea, the landscape changes and adds new stories with its moving images. Here comes the sound of the soprano sax giving birth to the composition dentro é fuori. A life anthem, like a prayer within the sound, a song for three voices which mixes harmony and counterpoint. I draw, I paint… the orchestra is composed of different colors, and from the choral, the soloist emerges. A piano, and always the same idea: minimal music. The sequence keeps on repeating itself: a disarming simplicity and the soul of jazz music. In Paris, at fall, I recorded the orchestra for the wind instruments, until 30 voices with bass, tenor, soprano saxophones and bass clarinet. Three different spaces, each from 48 to 56 time beats: the cycles are repeated and give birth to the architecture, until they reach the upper tone. In winter, I met the great artist Or Solomon, and in two days, when spring came, we recorded the part of the grand piano in his studio. I asked Gérard de Haro to realize the mix and the mastering and I went to La Buissonne in Avignon. In this huge room, with great acoustics, I played the soprano sax and we recorded the three lead voices…
